Alabama dominated Arkansas in the 1980 Sugar Bowl by a score of 24-9 as the final step in completing its perfect season. For the first time in its history, the Crimson Tide was unanimously chosen as the national champion. Major Ogilvie was selected as the MVP of the game. The painting portrays Ogilvie's exciting dive over "the top of the line" for one of the Tide's Sugar Bowl touchdowns.  Also shown in the painting are Alabama players Buddy Aydelette, #78; and Billy Jackson, #33.
