In 1980, Daniel Moore was commissioned to create this painting featuring Bobby Bowden, head coach of the Florida State Seminoles. The painting was used as the cover art for his biograhpical book, also entitled Bound for Glory, by Mike Bynum. The 1979 star Seminole players featured are: #15, Quarterback Jimmy Jordan; #48, Running Back Kevin Thomas; #50, Nosetackle Ron Simmons; and #12, Quarterback Wally Woodham.
