Dear Bruce:

As I am now taking a break in my painting of Payne Stewart, I would like to respond to your last phone conversation with Carl Ross at New Life Art. It is my understanding from Carl that we currently have no items for sale which are subject to licensing by any of the clients represented by CLC. We do have a handful of The Tradition Continues prints from 1993 that we sell from time to time. However, we prepaid all of those royalties years ago. We do not have any projects in the works at this time that would be subject to licensing. Therefore, we have chosen not to renew our contract with CLC at this time. However, should any projects arise in the future that would be subject to licensing by your clients, we will certainly contact CLC for that purpose.

Also, Carl mentioned that you inquired about the licensing of one of my recent artworks, Rebirth in the Swamp (Florida vs. Alabama-1999). The gold medallions on those art prints, embossed outside of my artwork, did not include any licensed marks, and would not be subject to licensing by either one of the two universities depicted in the painting.

Sincerely,
Daniel A. Moore, President
New Life Art Inc.
